A New Merger: Power Mac Center Greenbelt 3 Service Center and San Juan Service Center

In our desire to maximize the efficiency of our service team and closely monitor repair processes, we will be merging our Greenbelt3 workshop with our San Juan Service Center.

Please be informed that starting December 2, 2008 all Apple products (except iPhones) endorsed or left for major repair/service at Greenbelt 3 Service Center shall be transferred to our centralized workshop in San Juan. Our service vans shall pick-up and deliver products on a daily basis. In case of quick-fixes, our Service Advisors will be more than happy to assist you.

There will be no changes in our repair process turn-around-time and Service Counter business hours. Products left at Greenbelt 3 or any other Power Mac Center branch can still be claimed on the same location.

Rest assured that utmost care would be taken during transit.

Gizmodo explains why the new MacBook Pro have two graphic cards

The biggest update to the new MacBooks—on the inside anyway—is their graphical muscle, which has been hooked up with some Barry Bonds-level steroids. Apple ditched Intel's crummy integrated graphics and chipset (basically the traffic controller between the processor and everything else) entirely, opting for a new one from Nvidia that combines the chipset and a GPU on a single chip—the GeForce 9400M.
